Meet the artist
I'm a retired professional costume designer, now making puppets in my West Michigan home studio. I have loved, played with and created puppets ever since I was a child and it's wonderful to have the time now to spend on this interest. I get such a kick out of watching children playing with or reacting to my puppets!

Can I place a custom order?
Creating a custom design is one of my favorite things to do! I love the process of exploring new structures and working with different materials to create the perfect puppet.

I have a question about shipping.
I ship via USPS for domestic orders, which generally take 2-5 business days after shipping. I will also send you a tracking number once your order has shipped. As a one-person shop, I can’t always ship orders immediately, but I always try to ship them within a few days of order placement.
How do I place an order?

What materials do you use to make your puppets?
I start with white all-cotton socks and dye them all myself to achieve just the right colors. For accents and additions, I use wool felt, yarn, buttons, and other found materials.
My home studio is animal- and smoke-free.
